The JUIT Alumni Cell organized a talk by Mr. Sandeep Rajoriya an alumnus of the 2015 batch who recently cleared UPSC with AIR - 290 in UPSC CSE 2020 and was recently felicitated by the Chief Minister and the Education Minister of Madhya Pradesh for his achievement. The event took place virtually on 23rd October, 2021 at 11 a.m. on Google Meet platform.
The Alumni Talk started on a very high note. The event was successful enough to attract more than 180 participants.
Dr. Tanu Sharma and Dr. Saurabh Bansal introduced Mr. Sandeep Rajoriya to the audience. Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, esteemed advisor Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar and Dr. Saurabh Bansal welcomed our prestigious alumnus Mr. Sandeep and also introduced the Alumni Cell to the audience.
The Alumni Talk started with the inaugural speech of Prof. (Dr.) Rajendra Kumar Sharma, Vice-Chancellor of JUIT. In his speech, he congratulated Mr. Sandeep on his achievements. He advised the students to focus and pay attention to the task they are carrying on in their present whether it's sports or education. He also quoted how success comes with hard work. students how hard work can change their ordinary lives into extraordinary lives. His overall speech encapsulated hard work, focus, and determination.
Prof. (Dr.) Vinod Kumar took a moment and congratulated Mr. Sandeep. Dr. Rajiv Kumar, HOD of the Electronics and Communication Department further congratulated him on the behalf of the Department.
Then Dr. Rakesh Kumar Bajaj congratulated him and encouraged the students with his inspiring words. He blessed Mr. Sandeep with strength, tolerance, and prosperity.
Mr. Sandeep Rajoriya heartily thanked every faculty member for their blessings and wishes. He extended his greetings to everyone present in the meeting and started by sharing the experience of his inspiring UPSC journey from Preparation to Performance. He started by sharing his hostel life and University life experiences, for example how he used to enjoy the beautiful sunset and sunrise.
In his third year of engineering, while working on a few University projects, he acquired a strong interest in Civil Services, and instead of pursuing a traditional campus placement, he began preparing for his UPSC journey.
He explained how University became a turning point in his life. He taught about clarity of thoughts and how one has to be alive and secondly clear about their thoughts. He explained how a multidimensional attitude towards your goals is important and being an engineer, one should not only have technical skills but also incorporate social skills. He faced a lot of failures during his preparations and told the students about the importance of luck which plays after their hard work. He then gave tips to students on how they can overcome these failures and encouraged them to push their boundaries to achieve the best. The event was made even more fun and interesting when the audience was interacting with Mr. Sandeep. He answered all the queries with full enthusiasm. In the end, he thanked the faculty members and the JAC Team for inviting him to address the students and share his journey. Dr. Saurabh Bansal also thanked the organizing team for their efforts.
The JAC team feels proud to organize such a successful event and we are very thankful to all the faculty members including Dr. Anupriya Kaur & Dr. Amit Srivastava for gracing this event and giving everyone their blessings.
