Dear Esteemed Alumnus (Pass out Batches - 2015,2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020**),
On behalf of the Board of Management of Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) Waknaghat, we cordially invite you to join us on the auspicious occasion of the 6th Convocation. The ceremony is scheduled for 06th July 2024 (Saturday) at JUIT Waknaghat.
Please register by the deadline of 27th June 2024, Thursday at 11:00 AM to secure your participation. This convocation will be a memorable celebration of your achievements and contributions.
Please read the following instructions, which are important to attend the 6th convocation-2024
1. Online Registration: Online registration and deposit of security money is mandatory for attending the convocation. So you are requested to book your slot for the Convocation-2024 by filling out this form https://forms.gle/
2. Gown/Hood/Cap shall be provided to you on arrival on 5th July 2024 before and after the rehearsal session against your security deposit of Rs. 1600/-. The security is refunded to your Bank account once you return the Gown after a nominal deduction of Rs. 200/- as rental of the items by the vendor.
3. The information listed below will help you plan the event.
Tentative Schedule (Final Schedule shall be given to you on your arrival)
a. Registration for Convocation: 05 July 2024 at 1400 - 1500 Hrs.
b. Rehearsal, Final Briefing: 05 July 2024 at 1500 - 1700 Hrs.
c. Issue of Gowns: 05 July 2024, before and after the Rehearsal session
d. Students & Guests to be seated: 06 July 2024, 1000 Hrs.
e. Convocation Ceremony: 06 July 2024, 1015 – 1300 Hrs.
f. Lunch: 06 July 2024, 1300 Hrs.
4. It is emphasized that you must plan to reach the JUIT Campus by 1400 Hrs on 05th July 2024 (Friday) so that you register for your degrees and issue gowns. Please do inform us in advance so that we can inform the vendor of the gown to keep it available. Please make sure that you arrive on time since we won't be able to accommodate your request as we have certain lists to prepare to be given to Dean/HODs and also arrange degree certificates according to the presentee list by 1700 Hrs on 05th July 2024.
7. All medals, Masters and PhD degrees will be awarded in person on the stage. For all other students, the graduates will rise at their respective seats for conferment of the degree.
8. After lunch, the Vice-Chancellor and his team will be available in Convocation Hall for photographs with degree recipients (individual or in groups).
9. The minute-to-minute program shall be handed over to you upon your arrival on campus.
10. You are allowed to bring only two Guests. The guests are cordially invited for lunch after the Convocation.
11. We are expecting a large number of attendees for the convocation ceremony. Due to limited seating capacity in the Convocation Hall, the guests will be accommodated in adjoining halls where the ceremony will be streamed live.

Important –
1. All degree recipients have to report and complete all formalities by 1500 Hrs on 05 July 2024. All names, seating arrangements, and list of degree recipients will be finalized on 05 July 2024. Hence, it will not be possible to include any name in the list of degree recipients after 1700 Hrs on 05 July 2024.
2. If you have already collected/received your degree, you must bring your degree to attend the convocation.
