Dr. Prakhar Srivastava is a postdoctoral research fellow at Pusan National University (South Korea), currently working in the realm of nano-formulated therapies against hospital-acquired drug-resistant pathogens. He completed his under graduation from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan (2009-2013) and postgraduation from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai (2014-2016). He holds a Doctoral degree from the Vellore Institute of Technology (2016-2021) in the area of infectious microbiology. His research interest revolves around deciphering the novel quorum sensing (QS) mechanism in opportunistic pathogens and their intrinsic interlinked mechanistic behaviour during chronic infections that can serve as a potential therapeutic target.
