Session Objective:
With the increasing use of e-health technologies, electronic Health Records are increasing enormously turning into Big Data. Such data could be continuous vital signals or health reports. These e-health records need to be analyzed to find out disease patterns and perform predictive analytics for the efficient and accurate health treatments. In fact, this new emerging research area which stands at the intersection of several different discipline such as Technology, Medicine, and Big Data Analytics. The need of the hour is to develop new techniques, methods for the acquisition, storage, processing, analysis, standardization and optimization of every process in the health sector. E-healthcare data analytics could result in development of efficient electronic health records, new protocols for sharing such data utilizing optimized resources, and hence leading to smart health industry. Further given the sensitive nature of healthcare data, its privacy and security is of utmost importance. Development of state-of-the-art systems using various technologies for security and privacy of e-health data like EHR/EPR also needs an important attention. This is to make e-Health as a reliable alternative to conventional Healthcare.
This special session of 2019 ICIIP aims to bring together researchers, academicians and sector employees from different fields and disciplines and provide them an independent platform to exchange information on their researches, ideas and findings about healthcare data, analytics and methodologies to efficiently secure it. It is also aimed to encourage a debate on how e-healthcare can complement the conventional healthcare in terms of diagnosis, treatment, and to develop a common understanding for research conducted in this multidisciplinary field.

Session Objective:
Nearness spaces have been fruitful for approaching topology from categorical view point. The categories of topological spaces uniform spaces, proximity spaces and contiguity spaces are embedded in the category of nearness spaces.
In image processing, near system facilitates nearness measurement between a pair of images with directory of images.
Visual patterns arise naturally in digital images viewed as sets of non-abstract points endowed with some form of proximal (near) relation. Proximity relations make it possible to construct uniform topologies on the sets of points that constitute a digital image. The combination of computer vision techniques and near (proximal) sets leads to a deep understanding of images. Both the traditional papers of Nearness spaces and the research articles which deal with the application of nearness spaces in image processing may be invited for the session which complements the basic topics of the conference.

Session Objective:
Digital image watermarking scheme is promising and efficient method for protecting Digital Right Management (DRM). With the rapid growth of data scale, the demand for storage space is likewise increasingly growing. In this trend, cloud storage service has been recently presented as a service. This kind of service provides people with a lot of cheap and unlimited storage space. For example, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud Storage offer cloud storage solutions to customers around the world, reducing the need of local devices’ storage space. Hence, it is difficult for the cloud user to make sure that the cloud storage provider (CSP) has obeyed the request of deletion to remove all corresponding data. Digital watermarking technique and encryption techniques supports copyright protection and allow a content owner to embed a visual watermark into the digital content before distributed it over Internet.
The objective of this special session is to concentrate on all aspects and future research directions related to digital watermarking protocols. In this context, we invite researchers to contribute original research articles as well as highly review articles that will seek the continuing efforts to understand the concept of digital image watermarking techniques that lead to future improvements for providing reliable secure robust watermarking protocol.

Session Objective:
With the rapid advancement of networks, graphics hardware, and computing techniques, the 3D information has been widely applied in various domains, such as augmented/virtual reality, 3D graphics, medical industry, entertainment and architecture design. This is an emerging topic crossing several research areas, such as computer vision, multimedia computing, pattern recognition, image processing and computing graphics. The use of 3D rendering techniques in virtual reality is undergoing extensive research all over the world. 3D gaming, self-driving cars, robotic systems, medical diagnosis assistance, localization and mapping are some of the most investigated applications. These applications demand many camera-to-scene configurations including desktop and wearable settings as seen by the recent development of VR systems, such as those made by Facebook, Google, or Microsoft. Recently, the rapid progress of deep neural networks on 3D visual analysis has boosted the researches, breaking the boundaries of imagination and reality. This situation encourages the research on 3D visual representation and understanding and attracts much attention in both the academia and industry. However, there is still a long way towards effective 3D rendering techniques and applications.
