The aim of this session is to provide a platform to researchers and academicians to present their research results in the area of biomedical signal and image processing. We thus invite researchers to contribute both original research and review work for this session.
Abstracts are invited for the poster presentation. The abstract should be composed of 250-300 words and a flow chart, depicting the key concept of the work. The poster session will be focused on the following research area:
1. Medical Imaging: Medical image registration, fusion, quality assessment, retrieval and web resources development
2. Biomechanics
3. Ethical issues in acquisition of biomedical data
4. X-Ray, CT, MRI, Microscopy and Ultrasound image processing including automatic segmentation

6. Expert system based Image Processing
7. Auto focusing techniques for MRI and microscopic images
8. Image processing techniques, pattern discovery and disease classification
9. Design of computer aided diagnostic systems for clinical applications
10. Development of clinical decision support system
11. Development cost-effective EHR
12. New generation health policy
