The Jaypee University of Information Technology (JUIT) was conceived by a joint vision of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and founder chairman of Jaypee group Shri JaiPrakash Gaur ji in 2000. The University is nestled in the picturesque Waknaghat area of Shimla Hills across 25 acres of verdant hills in Solan District of HP.
