ICSMC 2021

ICSMC 2021 aims to provide a unique international platform and forum for academicians, researchers, professionals, and students engaged in the field of structural design, construction and materials to share their experiences and exchange the ideas pertaining to innovations in design and construction practices with the use of new materials. The conference will play a key role in bridging the existing gap between practitioners and academicians who are aware of with the latest developments in the field structural engineering and provide information on innovations in structural design, new construction materials, and construction techniques. ICSMC 2021 will feature keynote lectures and plenary speeches by world renowned speakers and the oral papers by delegates. Considering COVID-19 pandemic, participants are requested to present their talks/presentations related to their research work in online mode/recorded presentations. All the papers will be peer reviewed and an extended abstract volume of the papers accepted for ICSMC 2021 will be published.

This event provides a unique collaborative environment to expedite further advances in a broad range of structural engineering topics. This effort from Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat will assess the current progress and state-of-the-art techniques in structural experimentation, smart materials, structures technology. This initiative will also help to develop synergies among researchers in various disciplines from different countries, which will facilitate the development of joint research initiatives that are of such scope and magnitude that they cannot be easily carried out by individual investigators or research centers.

Three Best Paper Awards will be administered for oral presentations. The Conference Schedule for two days is planned such that participants can easily and actively participate in this conference in online mode from their respective places.

The JUIT was conceived by a joint vision of the Govt of Himachal Pradesh and the Founder Chairman of Jaypee Group Shri JaiPrakash Gaur in 2000. Land was provided on lease by the State Govt and the university was established by Act No 14 of 2002 vide Extraordinary Gazette Notification of the Govt of Himachal Pradesh dated May 23, 2002. The University Grants Commission accorded its approval under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act vide their Letter No. F 9-10/2002(CPP-1) dated 09 Dec 2002. The JUIT iis also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
