To prepare for the conference, we ask you to please review the following guidelines and specifications carefully before giving your presentation.
- 1. MANDATORY TO PRESENT THE PAPER It is mandatory to read your research work to the audience not only for your knowledge sharing but also to make the best use of the platform for exchanging research ideas and overall development of intellectual minds.
- 2. PREPARE A POWERPOINT PRESENTATION OF 10 TO 15 SLIDES A visual presentation focussing mainly on the need of study, methodology, results and discussions and conclusions is extremely helpful for your audience, as it is legible and not large enough to view / read. You will probably find you have prepared more slides than you need for a crisp presentation.
- 3. PRESENTATION SHOULD BE LIMITED TO 10 MINUTES WITH 5 MINS OF Q&A It is not possible to pour a conference paper into a 10-minute presentation. Instead, summarize the storyline of your paper, then present some 'cut' of your work that will encourage people to read the whole story. As a rule of thumb, depth beats breadth; four points made well will come across better than 10 rushed through.
- 4. PLEASE DO NOT READ FROM YOUR PAPER This is particularly important at a conference such as ICCMES, where you will be presenting your ideas to a broader group dealing in materials and environment than the (potentially) specialist group that will read your paper. In any case, listeners appreciate a presentation focused on key ideas, rather than a rushed attempt at the full text.
- 5. PLEASE KEEP TO TIME! Session moderators will indicate you through an audio *ALARM WARNING BELL* prior 2 mins (at 8 mins) than your scheduled 10 mins presentation. The session moderator will not give you extra time as this will cut into someone else's presentation or into the question-and-answer period.
- 6. BE PREPARED TO DEAL WITH QUESTIONS to give clarification, additional information, and comment on problems in a frank, candid, and helpful manner.
- 7. ENSURE GOOD INTERNET BANDWIDTH AND INSTALL GOOGLE MEET Kindly ensure that you are able to present your powerpoint presentation via google meet in full screen mode and your audio and video are clearly transmitting, in case of any technical help needed regarding google meet platform you may refer "https://support.google.com/meet/?hl=en "
All Accepted papers will be published after double-blind peer review.
Guidelines for Authors
- Prospective authors are invited to submit papers reporting original unpublished research and recent developments in topics related to the conference.
- The paper should begin with a title, short abstract, and a list of keywords. Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed.
- All papers must be submitted in PDF or DOCX format following strict formatting instructions provided by the conference organizers.
- The ICCMES 2024 organizers regard plagiarism as a serious professional misconduct. All submissions will be screened for plagiarism, and if identified, the submissions will be rejected.
- All papers undergo double-blind review.
- A submission should not be intended solely to receive reviews from the Program Committee to improve the paper's quality. Authors submitting papers imply their intention to ultimately register the paper upon a favorable response from the conference organizers. ICCMES does not encourage withdrawals after paper acceptance.
- The total length of the paper must not exceed 6-8 pages (A4 size), including bibliography and appendices.
- We use an Online Conference Service system for submission of papers and the review process. Unregistered authors should first create an account on the conference's submission system to log in.
