Call For Tutorials
The Organizing Committee solicits proposals for pre-conference tutorials at ICIIP 2015. Topics of the proposed tutorials should be aligned with the topics in the call for papers for the main conference. Proposals must provide an in-depth survey of the chosen topic with the option of describing a particular piece of work in detail. A meaningful summary of open issues in the topic should be included. A tutorial may be offered by an individual or a group of researchers.
Proposals should be submitted no later than August 18, 2015 as a single PDF file containing the following information:
- Title of tutorial
- Abstract
- a short summary of every section
- Length of the tutorial: Half-day
- Intended audience
- Specific goals and objectives
- Prior experience of holding tutorials in the area
- A brief biographical sketch of the presenter(s)
- Audio Visual equipment needed for the presentation
- Presenter's name, affiliation, address, email, phone, and fax
On the acceptance, the tutorial presenters will be required to provide comprehensive tutorial notes (printable slides) prior to the event, which may be published on the ICIIP web site.
Organizers of the accepted tutorials will receive free registration to the main conference. Local support including necessary logistics support will also be provided to all the speakers.
