He received his BTech degree from the UPTU in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in 2009, M.Tech degree from IIT Roorkee in 2012 and Ph.D. degree from IIT Roorkee in 2017. His Ph.D. is in the area of Medical image processing and has worked for the segmentation and classification of liver ultrasound images. He got a Design Patent on Shoes with his B.Tech. students: Saransh Rohilla and Saanidhya Yadav (Batch: 2019-23) on 3rd Feb 2023.
