Arvind Kumar is currently working as a Assistant Professor (Grade-II) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology, Jaypee University of Information Technology Waknaghat Solan from August 1, 2011 – Till Present Date. Before that, he has also worked as a Faculty Member for 2 years in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology (Formerly ICFAI Tech) from August 10, 2009 – July 22, 2011. He has over 8 years of experience in Academics and Industry in India. He is also a reviewer for various renowned International conferences.

1. Design of Data Quality Assessment for Shared IoT Deployments
With the rapid development of smart mobile terminals (MTs), various industrial Internet of things (IIoT) applications can fully leverage them to collect and share data for providing certain services. Hence, we need to achieve the high-quality data collection with limited MT energy resource and sensing range.
2. Design and Implementation of Delay Aware Data Collection Network structure for Shared IoT Infrastructure.
Multiple applications can cooperate and share the same device infrastructure to meet their respective sensing needs. Existing designs of data collection trees introduces many new challenges for IoT applications. One such challenge is delay aware data collection data collection for shared IoT infrastructure.
3. Design and Implementation of Fault Tolerant Data Collection Network structure for Shared IoT Infrastructure.
The devices in shared IoT can be shared among multiple public and/or private applications. These applications can simultaneously access the data generated by these devices. With devices being power-constrained, the chances of device failures are high in shared device infrastructure. This results in partitioned network topology and impacts data collection. Hence, the design of Fault Tolerant Network structure is required for Shared IoT Infrastructure.
4. Design an efficient schedule to enable data sharing in less sensing time for IoT.
To improve the energy efficiency of IoT, collaboration of sensor devices are preferred in the data collection and exchanging the information. When multiple applications request data from a sensor, we make use of data sharing among the applications. Hence, the design of efficient application scheduling is required for Collaborative IoT.
