Prof. Sunil Kumar Khah received B.Sc. (Electronic Sciences) from Kashmir University; M.Sc., M.Phil, and Ph.D. from Agra University. He did his postdoctoral research in the field of high power microwave component design at Institute for Plasma Research (DAE Institute). Presently, he is working as a professor in the field of Electromagnetics at Department of Physics & Materials Science, Jaypee University of Information Technology. He has got more than 26 years of Research and Administrative experience. He is holding the charge of Controller of Examination from April 2012. He is also in charge of the Internal quality assurance cell (IQAC) of the university.He is member of Academic Council of the University

On academic front he has got more than 50 publications in International Journals of repute and has completed two government sponsored projects on Microstrip Antenna Design. He is credited with two published Patents. His research interest is modeling and design of microstrip structures like antennas, filters. He has guided more four students for their PhD and also guided M.Tech students. He has worked as Adjunct Faculty at School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio, USA for two years.

He is life member of PSSI, MRSI, and Senior Member of IEEE. Presently he is Chairman Himachal Chapter of MRSI. He previously was faculty incharge of JUIT IEEE chapter.

Brief Life Sketch of Professor Shruti Jain

Born in Ambala Cantt, Haryana, Prof. Shruti Jain obtained the Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics Engineering from Kurukshetra University in 2004 and Masters of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2007. Her Ph.D. is in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JUIT, Solan. She has received her Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) in Electronics and Communication Engineering.

She has teaching experience of around 18 years. She has filed eight patents, of which one has been granted and five are published. She has published more than 25 book chapters, and 125 research papers in reputed indexed journals and in international conferences. She has also published 15 books. She has completed two government-sponsored projects. She has guided 07 Ph.D. students and now has 04 registered students. She has also guided 11 M Tech scholars and more than 100 B Tech undergrads. She has organized 10 conferences of IEEE and Springer as Conference General Chair. Her research interests are Image and Signal Processing, Soft Computing, Internet-of-Things, Pattern Recognition, Bio-inspired Computing, and Computer-Aided Design of FPGA and VLSI circuits

She is a senior member of IEEE, Executive member of IEEE Delhi Section, life member and Executive member of Biomedical Engineering Society of India, and a member of IAENG. She is a member of the Editorial Board of many reputed journals. She is also a reviewer of many journals and a member of TPC of different conferences. She was awarded by Nation Builder Award in 2018-19 and enlisted in 2% scientist of world rankings of 2021 published by Elsevier, data compiled by Stanford University.

Brief Life Sketch of Dr. Rahul Shrivastava

Department of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics, JUIT Waknaghat

Dr. Rahul Shrivastava is currently serving as Chief Warden of the University. He is also working as Coordinator for the M.Sc. Microbiology Program, and Summer Training program. He has a passion for teaching and loves interacting with students. He has been shouldered with various administrative responsibilities at JUIT in past, including Training and Placement Coordinator, Industrial Training Coordinator, Alumni Affairs Coordinator, Warden, and Dy. Chief Warden.

Dr. Rahul Shrivastava is a Gold Medalist in Microbiology from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University, Raipur. After his masters he qualified the CSIR – NET JRF Examination to pursue his Ph.D. from Central Drug Research Institute (a CSIR Institute), Lucknow in the areas of Bacterial Pathogenesis, Immunology and Molecular Biology. After his Ph.D. he worked for about two years with Evalueserve, Gurgaon, an MNC in the area of Intellectual Properties.

He joined Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, in 2010 as Assistant Professor, and is currently working as Professor at the Department of Biotechnology and Bioinformatics of the University. He is involved in teaching courses in the areas of Microbiology, Immunology and Diagnostics to graduate and post-graduate students. Dr. Rahul’s research interests include molecular diagnostics, host-pathogen interaction, bacterial biofilms and antibody engineering.

Dr. Rahul has been awarded with funded research projects from various Govt. agencies like - DST, ICMR and DBT. He is an active researcher with multiple articles and book chapters in National and International Journals and Books. He has delivered multiple lectures, and invited talks in Conferences, Workshops and Seminars. Currently he is guiding two PhD scholars, and four scholars have already completed their PhD under his guidance. He has guided more than 24 M.Tech and M.Sc students for their masters’ thesis. He is member of Scientific Advisory Committee, and Board of Studies of school and college. He is on reviewer board of different publication houses including Springer, Elsevier etc.
