Dr. Monika is currently working as an Assistant Professor (SG) in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology, Jaypee University of Information Technology, Waknaghat, Solan. She has completed her Ph.D. in Computer Science & Engineering from National Institute of Technology Srinagar, J&K in the year 2024. She received M.Tech degree from National Institute of Technology Jalandhar, Punjab and B.Tech degree from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar. Before joining JUIT, she had teaching experience from National Institute Technology Hamirpur, Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur, Chandigarh University, and Lovely Professional University. She has published around 12 research papers in various reputed journals and conferences. She is having 5 SCI papers in reputed international journals like BMC Bioinformatics, Briefings in Functional Genomics, Mathematics etc. She has qualified GATE Exam four times and UGC NET Exam twice in January 2017 and December 2019. She has also qualified UGC NET JRF in the year 2019. Her research interests include machine learning, deep learning, bioinformatics and computational biology.
