In this era of computerization and globalization where lives have become so stressful, sports and games have not just become a getaway for recreation, but they have also imparted values like discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, sacrifice and accountability. This is exactly what the PARAKRAM aims to leave behind for each and every one in JUIT, Waknaghat.
Sponsored by sports giants like NIVIA, ‘PARAKRAM’ the open sports festival will be held in one of the most beautiful campuses one could ever imagine-JUIT, situated in the state of mighty Himalayas, Himachal Pradesh. On 21st November, 2014, the university will once again open its gate to about 300 sports persons from different esteemed institutes to showcase their talents. The major events are VOLLEYBALL, BASKETBALL, BADMINTON & TABLE TENNIS in both Boys and girls categories. The first two events will span for three days and the latter two events (BADMINTON & TABLE TENNIS) will be concluded on 22nd November, 2014. The spectators will rise on their toes and unanimously cheer the spirit of sports and athleticism.
